- "Brutal ardour" (1978-1979). Sus imágenes, de resonancias pictóricas simbolistas, han sido reelaboradas (por refilmación del material inicial, sirviéndose de una pantalla lectora de microfilms) de una manera análoga a la música de Brian Eno que constituye la banda sonora (su serie de "variaciones" sobre el famoso "Canon" de Pachelbell): dilatando el tiempo, escudriñando la imagen en sus detalles parciales, revelando la estructura fotogramática del film, formateando la textura y difuminando la leve anécdota subyacente. Es un film que suscita indistintamente entusiasmos y reparos; estos últimos, fundados a menudo en el tono romántico-sentimental del film, aunque probablemente esto mismo es lo que apasiona tanto a otros.

- "Brutal ardour" (1978-1979). Its images, with pictorial, symbolists resonances, have been re-elaborated (by refilming the initial material, with a microfilm reader screen) in a similar way as Brian Eno's music, which constitutes the sound-track (his series of variations on the famous "Canon" of Pachelbel): expanding time, scrutinizing the image in its partials details, revealing the photogramatic structure of the film, promoting its texture and stumping the trivial, underlying anecdote. It is a film that equally provokes enthusiasm and objections; the latter are frequently based on the romantic-sentimental tone of the film, though probably it is this same aspect which fascinates others so much.
