boek, uitgegeven in 1836, met tekeningen van J.J. Grandville.
Zoömorfi sche karikaturen, die de fysieke en psychische
gelijkenissen tussen mens en dier in de verf zetten,
waren – en blijven – een eindeloze bron van vertedering,
afschuw en vermaak. Het is opvallend welke centrale plaats de dierenwereld in de vroege cinema die op deze dvd wordt getoond, onder velerlei vormen en aspecten, inneemt.
